Round 3 (please Lord, let it stop here)

Well, I'm sure you know what I am about to say when I say "Round 3". Yep, you guessed it. Katelynn has RSV AGAIN for the 3rd time in 3 months!!!! Luckily this time hasn't been as bad as the other two times but I am worn out. I am so ready to be able to take her outside when it's a nice day and to be able to go to church each weekend which is usually one of my only outings. Poor baby has pretty much been sick since Tyler's birthday party on Nov. 22nd. That's 3 months of constant coughing, snot and sleepless days and nights for Katelynn and mommy.

Tyler started coughing and sneezing the end of last week and Saturday night Haylee and Katelynn started doing the same thing. RSV shows up as just a cold in older children so more than likely he gave both of them RSV. I can't keep him from kissing on those girls. Haylee is improving better and faster than Katelynn and I didn't see the need to pay 2 copays when I was sure they had the same thing so I just scheduled Katelynn. The doctor said she didn't hear any wheezing this time and that she didn't want to get a chest X-ray quite yet until the RSV is out of her system. If Katelynn is still coughing next week then she will order it then since she had the Pneumonia a couple of weeks ago. Please pray for her to completely heal this time and for her to have good health soon. I could use a little less drama around the house so I can focus on laundry and dishes instead of holding sick babies all day.

Here is a more recent picture of her. This was probably on one of her better days last week after the Pneumonia. She is such a sweet baby and has learned how to sit up and give me kisses. I'll have to get some pictures soon.

So sorry to hear that you are still going through this...I know all too well what it's like to wish things would go back to normal, even though normal isn't all that exciting! Praying for health for all the Ivy bunch :D

What an awful season this has been, huh? My pedi says that if we can hang on until the weather warms up for good, we'll see an improvement. I hope so!!

This week Isaac is doing better, but Caleb has an ear infection. And I'm wondering if he caught the flu from the doctor's office...he was throwing up all night! No rest for the weary, eh?

I'm praying for you and your family.

Whew! Hang in there girl. Just keep in mind you wont ever get to hold her this much ever again, so it is kind of a blessing.
The house work can wait!!
